This spring, the mother of punk fashion, Vivienne Westwood, opened up a cafe in the K11 Art Mall. Since  my obsession with her rocking horse shoes (what's up old school lolita!) and her iconic orb necklace seen in the anime and manga, Nana, I have loved Vivienne Westwood.

Updates: Store Closures!

After living in Shanghai for more than two years, I've come to accecpt the sad reality that shops, big or small, often struggle to stay afloat in this city. Between the high rent prices and the booming online shopping trend, it's a miracle if a shop can stay open for more than a few months.

I've done my best to drop by shops that I've previously blogged about to bring you the lasted info on what shops have closed down or moved locations.

Feminine fashion with Axes Femme

I took a trip to Axes Femme to check out their autumn line up and share it with you. 

Their line is filled with jewel tones and neutral accents in all sorts of wonderful fabrics.

Honeys Japanese Clothing company

Early this winter, in  desperate need of warm clothes, I headed over to OPA mall to check out a shop that is quickly becoming my go to store for casual cute fashion, Honeys.

To Alice Open in Shanghai

Lately, news about shops in Shanghai has been a bit depressing with both Swimmer and Liz Lisa closing their doors in 2014.  Luckily 2015 has brought Shanghai a super cute shop that I totally recommend as a must see for all cute fashion lovers.

You might have figured out by now that I am in love with the Japanese brand, Liz Lisa and was so excited when I came to Shanghai and found a shop at Jiu Guang mall. Recently though, the shop closed down and left me feeling more than a little sad. But I have good news!

Liz Lisa has an officially licensed Tmall shop that ships all over China!

I'm sorry to bring such terrible news, but Liz Lisa, previously at Jiu Guang department store has closed! 

I do not have an official notice of the store closure, but for now, it is safe to assume Liz Lisa Shanghai has closed.

National Day Sale at Jiu Guang!

To celebrate its 10th anniversary and National Day, Jiu Guang is hosting amazing sales throughout the mall! When I say amazing, I really mean it. Nearly every brand has put together lucky packs that are worth 4-5 times what you pay for the pack.

Etude House Shanghai Flagship store is Open!

On August 8th, Etude House opened the doors to its Nanjing East road location. Despite the rain, girls lined up to get their hands on this famously cute cosmetic brand from Korean.

ETUDE HOUSE is opening a shop on

 East Nanjing Road

The shop will be located at Nanjing East Road Pedestrian Street near the Apple Store.  I don't have the exact opening date, but I'll be sure to check out the location periodically and try to find out.

Spring in Shanghai

My life in Shanghai has finally returned to normal for me which means I can start blogging again! The weather is quickly beginning to warm up and Shanghai has began to blossom with the colors of spring.

Shop fronts have shed their winter gear too and are now showing off the beauty of spring.

As the weather quickly cools down in Shanghai, people rapidly transition into their fall wardrobe. With that comes fluffy sweaters, cute boots and hats and the opportunity to layer. Fall weather also creates a perfect time to sight some amazingly cute outfits.

Located in the Jing'an district of Shanghai, Jiu Guang Department Store is home to hundreds of trendy domestic and international fashion brands. If you are looking for a one stop shop that is sure to fill your every indulgence, Jiu Guang is the place to go.

Liz Lisa Shanghai

Liz Lisa is Japanese fashion brand known for their ultra feminine and cute clothing. With frequent floral prints and use of chiffon fabrics it is a staple in most roma and himekaji gyaru wardrobes (not totally accurate, but here's a description of "gyaru"). The brand's concept has a strong focus on "Retro & Girlish", so needless to say, I love Liz Lisa! I was  excited to discover they have a store in Shanghai and quickly made my way over to check it out.
