After several great years in Shanghai, it's time for me to leave. Although I started this blog as a way to force myself to get out, experience the city and find something lovely, it grew into something I couldn't even imagine. I hope this blog will provide a bit of useful information and assist travelers, those who are new to the city and those who are simply curious about Shanghai.

Anime street

Do you love anime? 

If so, you must check out one of the best spots I've found for anime goods in Shanghai.

Along Wenmiao Road you'll find a pedestrian street that looks like you stepped into another world made just for anime fans. On Wenmia Road you'll come across mountains of figmas, anime, and idol merchandise. All of them are ridiculously cheap and begging to be bought.

To Alice Open in Shanghai

Lately, news about shops in Shanghai has been a bit depressing with both Swimmer and Liz Lisa closing their doors in 2014.  Luckily 2015 has brought Shanghai a super cute shop that I totally recommend as a must see for all cute fashion lovers.

Hello Kitty is a massive icon in the world of cuteness so when I found out Hello Kitty Today, a kitty themed cafe, opened up in Shanghai, I rushed over to check it out myself. 

Hello Kitty Theme Park Opens New Years 2015

Great news for all Hello Kitty fans in China, Sanrio will be opening an official Hello Kitty theme park, called Hello Kitty Home ((凯蒂猫家园), on New Year day!
