Recently, at Mao Live House, a seifuku (sailor uniform) event was held which gave me the opportunity I was looking for to finally buy the school uniform of my dream. Chinese New Year is here! 

I hope you can enjoy eating wonderful food and visiting your family this Chinese New Year. Of course, I also wish you get many hongbao (red bag) filled with cash! Hello Kitty Theme Park Opens New Years 2015

Great news for all Hello Kitty fans in China, Sanrio will be opening an official Hello Kitty theme park, called Hello Kitty Home ((凯蒂猫家园), on New Year day!

11.11 Single's Day Sales

November 11th, marks Single's Day in China (11.11- all the numbers are 1!). Shops are having incredible sales for 24 hours in order to celebrate this unofficial holiday. You definitely shouldn't miss this great shopping event!

On Saturday, October 18th, Chinese lolita fashion brand, Krad Lanrete held a tea party at La Petite Fontaine. Nearly 80 local lolita fashion fans showed up to this event.

To celebrate its 10th anniversary and National Day, Jiu Guang is hosting amazing sales throughout the mall! When I say amazing, I really mean it. Nearly every brand has put together lucky packs that are worth 4-5 times what you pay for the pack.

Kawaii Philippines is hosting an international campaign as part of the Kawaii in Manila 2 convention that asks people world wide to express what kawaii means to them.

Wow that's a lot of kawaii for one sentence!

AnimeParty! (picture heavy)

I'm back from Shanghai's AnimeparTy! The event was held over two days at the Shanghai Everbright

convention center near Caobao Road and featured your typical anime convention agenda: panels, cosplayers and merchandise. I hope you enjoy the photos!
