Hello lovelies! Sorry I was away for so long. This summer has been really busy!
I'm back with part 2 of 3 of my Cute Travels in Tokyo, Japan. Get ready for a photo heavy post behind the cut.
Day three continued!
Day three was a super long day! I started at the Koishikawa Garden, stopped in at Moomin Cafe then headed to Shimokitaza.
Grand Bazaar has a lot of second hand lolita items!~
I recommend you check out this shop in addition to Closet Child.
It's easy to see the vibe in Shimokitazawa is different from other
parts of the city.
Natural kei vibes
Their style really reflects the aura of the area; laid back and natural.
Day Four
Harajuku fashion was one of the first cultural aspects that drew me to Japan. On day four, I headed over to do some final shopping and check out the local street style.
I arrived really early, but Takeshita Dori was already busy!
Larme kei and sweet styles were everywhere!
Bright and loud fashion that screams Harajuku
ANCOCO is a great budget option for hime kaji.
If you like gyaru fashion be sure to stop by ANAP and ANCOCO.
I think I shopped at every LL shop in Tokyo!
Pompompurin Cafe at the Cute Cube.
Selfie stick!
After shopping and grabbing a sweet lunch at Pompompurin Cafe, I headed to Meiji Jingu to have my first shrine visit of the year,
After the hustle and bustle of Takeshita Dori, this felt like paradise.
Last on my list for the day, was a planetarium experience in Ikebukuro. But first, dinner....
I love B class food (B級グルメ)
Day Five, the day before my flight
My two main attractions for the day were Ueno Park and Shin-Okubo, Korea town.
First, a simple breakfast at the same place!
Ueno Park
Ueno park has many nice temples and shrines
grilled squid and oden stall
By now you realize, I ate either sweets or simple foods like this throughout my entire trip.
Coffee break!
This turtle melon bread was almost too cute to eat... almost!
Shin Okubo Korea Town!
Korea Town! It's so bright and cheerful!
Idol merch shops are everywhere in Shin Okubo.
Last snacks!
Thanks for checking out my Cute Travel post. I hope you enjoyed checking out all my photos.
The last post of this series will be all about my shopping haul from Tokyo!
I am interested in going to Shimokitazawa but have never been so far as it's not entirely central. Maybe next visit. Was the food okay at the Pom Purin cafe? Some of the combinations I've seen online looked strange (mashed potato with pancakes lol)

Shimokitazawa is so cool! I had fun just walking around and people watching.
DeleteThe food at Pompom Purin cafe was really good! I ordered pancakes with cream and fruit.
