To Alice Open in Shanghai

Lately, news about shops in Shanghai has been a bit depressing with both Swimmer and Liz Lisa closing their doors in 2014.  Luckily 2015 has brought Shanghai a super cute shop that I totally recommend as a must see for all cute fashion lovers.image

To Alice began as a taobao shop and opened its first brick and mortar location in Shanghai. All of To Alice's designs are unique to the brand and are the product of their in house designer. This shop is a power house! New designs come out frequently and cater to a younger audience (or those young at heart!) who love kawaii clothing. Did I mention that the brand is a local Chinese brand?! Wow, I'm so happy to see cute non-replica items being produced in China.

Their items are playful and adorable and best of all, are good quality.

To Alice has set up their shop at Dimei Guang Chang and is easily spotted by its ultra cute pink and white exterior.

Inside, the shop is packed with a great range of their items. I did notice that not everything on their website was in the shop, but I'm sure you could arrange an in-store pick up for anything. (I didn't ask about this though.)

The shop staff (not pictured) was mostly dressed in average street clothing aside from one super cute girl in lolita. They were all super helpful despite my limited Chinese and their limited English. Also worth mentioning is that they weren't pushy at all. I really appreciate it when sales people don't make it obvious they are trying to rack up my total sale.

If you cant't get to To Alice's Shanghai shop, you can still check out all their cute designs on their taobao shop HERE.

  1. Wow, this looks great!
Is the store still there? Would you do an update post on it sometime (maybe about popularity, customers, etc.)?

    1. Hello, thanks for checking out my blog. I'm sorry it's been quite here, I have been terribly busy. I'm actually going to be moving soon and won't be able to update my blog so I'm working on collecting tons of back post right now.

    1. Although I don't think they are shipping to individuals. They do have a taobao shop that you can check out. You will most likely need a shopping service to buy from them. Good luck!
